A bit about Anne Undeland:

I’m a theater artist (mainly a writer of plays) who does something of everything.

I’m an award-winning playwright with an m.o. to write great roles for women over 45 - where she’s the one who drives the action, has the fully-embodied experience, and, yes, the lion’s share of funny lines.

My most recent play, Wharton Between The Sheets (formerly Mr. Fullerton) just finished its run at Boston’s Gloucester Stage after a sold-out 2021 run in the Berkshires in which it was nominated for Outstanding New Play by the Berkshire Theater Critics Association.

I also narrate audiobooks, perform one-woman shows, develop living history programs, do voice-over work, conduct oral histories, and collaborate, direct, and act in as many productions as I can.

If it's funny, interesting or inspiring, I'll probably do it.

Hey! I went to St. Stephen’s High School in Rome and they just did a profile of me in their alumni magazine. Check it out here!
